how to join, et cetera

if you've joined any community within the last year or two, joining province shouldn't be too hard. in character journals are required as well as an ic and ooc post. we don't require bios or blurbs here but your ooc journal should at that very least have: character name, birthday and age, occupation and other basics you may find applicable. we will be looking at examples a little more than character info. we want to see examples consisting of narratives and threads, the more the better! one thing we want to make sure you like to do when you join is write. we don't even require lengthy updates (short informative narratives under 100 words are allowed!) but we just want to know it's on your radar. we allow the revival of old characters! not that any community doesn't but we encourage it because we know sometimes people feel weird about reviving characters. we just ask that if you revive an old character you clean out your flist from older communities and this doesn't mean you have to remove everyone and all of your interestes, but please don't join with an entire community still added. a fresh new f/o is required as well. once you have all of that together, please apply!

activity & interaction

monthly update cycles is the easiest thing for us as mods to keep track of. you've got two jobs to do throughout each month: update and post something interactive on the fp. updates should be written or at least something you put work and thought into (phone posts, etc). the focus of updates is to give us an update on your character and their background or who they are. having said that, your written updates have no length requirement or anything like that, just an effort. if it's short and to the point, that's okay. interactive posts can be ffas, lyric posts, instagram posts - anything you want. we want a good mix of writing and interaction! not replying to comments on your intros and interactive posts will result in removal.

activities and such

some communities in the past tried to do some fun things like plot posts, gossip, etc. we will try to bring these things back with your direction. we don't want to have anything going on that you don't want to see but your participation will be key in helping us figure out what would make the community and fp fun so please be prepared to come in and help us. new ideas, old ideas, we'd love it all!
